1. Worked as scientific officer and radiation control inspector (in nuclear safety and radiations control division) at Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, August, 1998 - August, 2006 (study leave from August, 2001).
2. Researched in applied physics and materials science at NUS, Singapore, August, 2001- June, 2005 (was on study leave from BAEC).
3. Worked as a teaching assistant at NUS, Singapore, July, 2001-June, 2004.
4. Worked as a part-time teacher of EEE at the University of Ulster, UK, June, 2006-July 2009.
5. Conducted research on magnetic materials and Fe-based bulk metallic glasses (BMGs), taught and supervised MSc and PhD students on materials science & engineering as an associate professor at Tongji University, Shanghai, China, from January 2013- January 2015.
